  7. You can simply dismiss any thing like pitchi ratalu and kakilekkalu as you are not happy with the substance. 1st of all carving out new state is a mere administrative excercise in Indian constitution. It does not cofer any soveriegn status. Hence division of state is not " Freedom from colonial rule" etc etc is mere figmant of imagination. At the same time division of states does not threat teritorial integrity also. Both the assumptions are wrong. It is utter cacophony to belive that creation of telangana will automatically creat lakhs of jobs. For example small state like T, only need limited staff. In Secreteriat, you need only out of the existing 10. Invariably you have to send 6 people to SA secreteriat. Even then you will not have a single vacancy to fill. More over T separatists are opely proclaiming that SA people in Hyd need not worry, their jobs will be protected and they need not move out of T, in case of formation of T. If they are to be taken seriously T will end up as employee surplus state, leaving lakhs of students who are hoping for govt jobs high and dry. Mere pourign outburst on chegondi does not work, you have to come out with facutual details why he was wrong.

  9. Kalyan Ram,

The intention of this post is to expose chegondi's essays and his baseless claims, not to list all the causes of asking division of state. For that already there is sufficient documentation.

Secondly noone is of the assumption that mere creating of a state automatically creates lakhs of jobs, so debating about something that was never claimed by divisionists is of no use. What we say is that division of state will in future eliminate all the discrimination that is happening now in recruitment, promotions. The scope of exploitation of opportunities of Telangana youth cannot be exploited by others.

As you rightly said division of a state can never affect the sovereign status as claimed by some pseudo integrationists. But drawing parellel with colonial rule is justified as in united andhra pradesh by default power lies with seemandhra due to number games and they always exploit Telangana resources with their brute power.

Numbers hardly matter it is the leadership qualities that matter. CBN, Jagan has got huge following in T. Show me one leader in T who has even a little following in SA? How come Seema with fewer MLAs could corner Majority of CMs in AP history? If CMs have larger say in administration, than Seema would have been a developed region, on the contrary T is much more developed than seema and uttarandhra. Hence he contention of majority vs minority does not hold any valid argument at all. If you are employble you can join multinationals which are highly paid and highly sought after why settle for silly govt job? Separatist claims of jobs discrimination, exploitation of resources etc does not stand before objective verification. When your own MLA elects his CM, how is that you are calling it a colonial rule.

    2. Kalyan Ram,

Do you mean to say that PV Narsimha Rao, Chenna Reddy didn't have leadership qualities? The irony is that PV could become PM and rule for 5 years but he couldn't be CM for more than 1 year.

Neither CBN, nor Jagan have got anything on their own. For both of them ground work has been prepared because of the power they enjoyed either directly or through others. In telangana after Chenna Reddy and PV the leadership has been suppressed. Remember that for all the parties except TRS the power was always held by Seemandhra leaders and they delibrately ensured that Telangana leadership cannot grow. For the same reason KCR was not given ministry by CBN.

Regarding jobs, please note that even after so much development in private sector, govt is still the major employer. Whether in Seemandhra or Telangana majority depend on these jobs. unfortunately Telangana youth are discriminated. State division is not for those who can get into multi-nationals like you and me. We can live anywhere in the world, it is for those unfortunate people who cannot get there.

Even in colonial rule we have our own representatives. Please do not repeat the same old argument here, all your claims are answered number of times. How is it related to Chegondi anyway?

Then why don't seemandhrites all get into multi-nationals and leave govt jobs for T-youth? Why do they get employed through back door entry in T-quota, why do they get promotions through lobbying?

We have already followed your suggestion. My father was a state govt employee joined in Kurnool in 1953. Later shifted to Hyd in 1956. Non of our brothers sisters or any of our relatives joined state govt as we were vexed with the politics in state govt circles.AS you suggested I also appeal to my SA brothers to leave state govt jobs to T people and go elsewhere OK

we have never seen PV in the narrow angel of T. We always proudly said PV is an Andhraite(Telugu). We have elected him from Nandyal and Berhumpur(uttarandhra people who are in large number voted for him)You people have defeated him from Hanamkonda. He could not contest from karimnagar or peddapalli as all his lands were occupied by naxals. Still we are proud of PV, we own him very much. You can see his statue in vizag if any time you happen to visit vizag.
Chenna reddy has got tremendous leadership qualities. Madam Gandhi could not digest his authoritarian style of functioning and removed him, and made anjiah a novice as CM. Dont blame SA people for that. SA people still remember his contribution in making vizag steel a reality. KCR was denied ministerial berth becuase of velma quota. CBN accommodated vijayramarao, in velama quota, as he has emerged as a giant killer by defeating late PJR. Hence dont give regional color to it my dear friend.
Unless it is proved with documentary evidence about discrimination, it is simply a loose talk about so called discrimination. 4 lakh employees are members in T empoyees unions. Do you mean to say all of them have entered through back doors? Or you want to say all those T employees are meretorious only SA employees got employment through backdoor. Chegondi has raised certain valid points, you cannot dismiss it with simple rhetoric. Let Harish rao or KTR start Telugu rastra samithi and fight all the 294 seats, and let them become CM of the state. That is the best answer to SA domination.

    6. >>> Do you mean to say that PV Narsimha Rao, Chenna Reddy didn't have leadership qualities?
Yes, to some extent. Very important characteristic of political leadership is mobilizing the support.
Half of congress CMs from SA are like that. First they build their own groups and then bargain with high command.
Channa Reddy somewhat falls into this category but PV was kind of appointed by merit.
PV could have returned as CM, had Telangana leaders rallied behind him.
But he lost at home because he was integrationist.

Even today Telangana is not in a position to offer a single leader acceptable to majority of the districts.

The first hurdle is lack of aspiration in leaders. Telugus in general are less aspirant (compared other regions in India) by nature.
Telanganas are somewhat more. Reasons can be cited here. But they may hurt people.
The positive fallout of this nature is that degree of corruption in Telangana is far less than in other places.

Next important factor is too much diversity in every perspective, geographical, religious, caste, cultural, social, political.
Note that it is not a divided society but only diverse. They do not clash in the name of differences.
At the same time it is difficult mobilize majority of them for some cause.
A simple example is JACs in present movement. Let us take lawyers JAC. Ideally there should be one JAC with local units are affiliations.
But there is one lawyers JAC in every town and city each of them independent from the other.

For discussion sake, if state division happens who will represent Telangana in negotiations?

One can see the same in political parties. In many districts congress has strong leadership.
But they do not accept one person as leader even on a temporary basis. T-congress forum does not have a full time leader.
It is same with TDP, many popular leaders cutting across castes. But none acceptable to whole region.
      A. Madhava reddy, Devender goud and Nagam could rise to number 2 position in the party but not many takers in the region.

    7. @kalyan Ram

There are multiple things to be noted here:

      1) Strong leadership in the state means strong leader who can involve in factionism, caste mobilization and use money power. SA is famous for all the three, so strong leaders are who can take entire state politics are coming from that region.

Note that they are not good at leadership skills but good at utilizing their power that is acquired by other illegal means for the advantage of political power. I am happy that such kind of "strong" leadership is not there in Telangana. We do not want to droop to such level for the benefit of getting some advantage in funds allocation. Instead we prefer to be in different state.

      2) As I said earlier the true people's leaders from Telangana region are suppressed by the otherwise strong leaders from SA with their muscle and money power.

ex: - KCR denied ministry and ensured to leave TDP.
      - PV ensured to be removed from CM post as he was trying to implement land reforms with fake agitation called Jain Andhra.
      - P. janardhan Reddy denied ministry

      several other such examples

      3) For every political party, the state leadership lies with Seeamndra. They only encourage puppets who dances to their tunes and works for the benefit of SA and suppress others.

Apart from Congress and TDP even in BJP Venkayya Naidu plays cards even though BJP has very little support in SA.

      4) Once we get T-state, we will produce enough leaders who can fulfill our cause. We do not want leaders with money or factionist power, we want leaders with people power and those are the true leaders. Only Telangana can produce such leaders, SA can never.

    8. @kalyan ram

great that you have elected PV from nandyal, but it is only when he became PM of the country, to take advantage of it. No need to repeat here about lobbying skills, opportunistic mentality of SA leaders to get every thing for their benefit. Remember that when PV became PM when Rajiv Gandhi died after the first phase of elections. In telangana region elections happened before his death and TDP won most of the seats. As there was no constituency to be offered, He had to get elected from Nandyal because of the then chief minister Kotla.

There is enough documentary evidence, but closed minds will never agree. The very reason of creation states lieing with center through article 3 is that the discriminating side will never agree about discrimination, whatever the evidence offered. We should thank Dr. Ambedkar for his foresight.

Chegondi didn't offer any points except his usual sarcasm. If you see some points there please do enlighten us.

    2. Jai: The movement you got the ticket of TDP, you have to endorse the CM ship of CBN, more over candidates openly canvass that they will elect CBN if their party comes to power. Hence your point no2 is irrelevent. You are voting congress means you are giving power to the then madam Gandhi to elect your CM. Madam gandhi made a horrible choice by choosing the ones like Bhavanam etc. she paid the price for it. You are voting for congress or TDP means you have an idea what your MLA is going to do.
