పైడి జైరాజ్:
కరీంనగర్లో పుట్టి హైదరాబాద్లో చదువుకున్న పైడి జైరాజ్ సినిమాలపై ఇష్టం పెంచుకుని బొంబాయి వెల్లి బాలీవుడ్లో ప్రత్యేక స్థానం సంపాదించుకున్నాడు. 1930-50 మధ్యలో 170 సినిమాలకు పైగా కధానాయకుడుగా నటించిన జైరాజ్ హిందీ సినిమాల నిర్మాణం, దర్శకత్వం కూడా చేశాదు. ఆకాలంలో అగ్ర నటీమణులందరి సరసన హీరోగా నటించిన జైరాజ్ 1980 సంవత్సరంలో దాదాసాహెబ్ ఫాల్కే అవార్డు అందుకున్నాడు.
బీ. నర్సింగరావు
మెదక్ జిల్లా పగ్న్యాపూర్‌లో పుట్టిన బీ. నర్సింగరావు నాటకరంగం నుండి సినీరంగానికి వచ్చి దర్శకుడు, నిర్మాత, రచయితగా మంచి సినిమాలు తీసి అవార్డులందుకున్నాడు. 1979లో తీసిన మాభూమి సినిమాకు నర్సింగరావు గౌతం ఘోష్‌కు సహ దర్శకుడు మాత్రమే కాక రచయిత, నిర్మాత కూడా. నర్సింగరావ్ ఇంకా రంగులకల, మట్టిమనుషులు, దాసి సినిమాలకు దర్శకత్వం వహించాడు. దాసి సినిమాకు 5 నేషనల్ అవార్డులు వచ్చాయి.
శ్యాంబెనెగల్:
సికందరాబాద్ తిరుమలగిరిలో పుట్టిన శ్యాంబెనెగల్ (అసలు పేరు బెనెగళ్ళ శ్యాంసుందర్) నిజాం కాలేజీ, ఉస్మానియాల్లో చదివుకున్నారు. అంకుర్, నిశాంత్, మంథన్, భూమిక లాంటి అద్భుత సినిమాలు హిందీలో తీసి హిందీసినిమాలో ఒక కొత్త శకాన్ని సృష్టించిన శ్యాంబెనెగల్ అనుగ్రహం అనే తెలుగు సినిమా కూడా తీశాడు. బెనెగల్ సినీరంగంలో తన కృషికి పద్మశ్రీ, పద్మభూషన్, దాదాసాహెబ్ఫాల్కే అవార్డులు దక్కించుకున్నాడు.
కాంతారావు:
నల్గొండ జిల్లా కోదాడకు చెందిన కాంతారావు 400కు పైగా తెలుగు సినిమాల్లో నటించాడు. కత్తియుద్ధానికి పేరుగాంచిన కాంతారావు పౌరాణిక, జానపద సినిమాల్లో హీరోగా అరవైల్లో ఒక ఊపు ఊపాడు. తెలుగుసినిమాల్లోనేకాక హిందీ, తమళ, కన్నడ సినిమాల్లో కూడా నటించిన కాంతారావు హేమ ఫిలింస్ బ్యానరుపై సినిమాలు నిర్మించాడు కూడా. అయితే చివరిదశలో ఎంతోపేదరికంలో గడిపిన కాంతారావు మద్రాసునుండి సినీఫీల్డు హైదరాబాదుకు వచ్చినప్పుడు సినిఫీల్డులో అందరికీ ఫిలింనగర్లో ప్లాట్లు లభించినప్పటికీ తను మాత్రం వందగజాలు కూడా దక్కించుకోలేకపోయాడు.

Even after running for decades, Adrak ke Panjey never lost its appeal thanks to Babban Khan's constant improvisations & contemporary references.
I did not include music/poetry related artists as they are too numerous.

Deleteగోదావరి జిల్లాల మీద చాల సినిమాలు వచ్చాయి, అందులో విల్లన్లు గోదావరి భాషే మాట్లాడతారు. రాయలసీమ backdrop లో చాలా సినిమాలు వచ్చాయి, అందులో విల్లన్లు మాట్లాడేది ఆ భాషే. హైదరాబాద్ బెస్ తో వచ్చే సినిమాల్లో విల్లన్లు మాట్లాడేది తెలంగాన భాషే. అంతే కాని, గోదావరి జిల్లాల లో తీసిన సినిమాల్లో అక్కడ తెలంగాణా భాష మాట్లాడితే జనం నవ్వుతారు. ఏ ప్రాంతాన్ని బెస్ చేసుకుని సినిమా తీస్తున్నారో ఆ ప్రాంతం భాషే ఉంటుంది. హైదరాబాద్ రాజధాని కాబట్టి చాలా వరకు సినిమాలు ఇక్కడే తయారవుతాయి. ఆ నేటివిటి లో ఈ ప్రాంతం లో ఉండే భాష వాడతారు. ఈ ఫీల్డ్ లో అందరు హిట్ అవ్వరు. కొన్ని వందలమంది ప్రయత్నిస్తారు అందులో అతి కొద్ది మంది మాత్రమే నిలదోక్కుకుంటారు. ఉదయకిరణ్ కూడా హిట్స్ ఇచ్చాడు, వేణుమాధవ్ ఫ్లాప్ అవ్వలేదు. one of the best comedians. శివారెడ్డి ఒక షో కి ఎంత తీసుకుంటాడో తెలుసా ? అతను ఫ్లాప్ అయ్యాడా ? అనిచివేసారా వీళ్ళని ? కమెడియన్ శ్రీనివాసరెడ్డి ఖమ్మం అతను ఎలా హిట్ అయ్యాడు.కమెడియన్ వేణు,రమేష్ ఎలా హిట్ అయ్యారు.హిట్ ఫ్లోప్స్ అనేవి కామన్ ఒక్కోసారి ఒక్కొక్కరు హిట్ అవుతారు. హీరో నితిన్ ఎన్ని సినిమాలు తరువాత హిట్ ఇచ్చాడు, ఎవరు అనదోక్కకుండానే అన్ని సినిమాలు వచ్చాయా? మా వంశం గొప్పదంటే, మా బ్లడ్ లో ఉందని, ఇవన్ని సోది dialogues. ఆ dialogues పెద్ద కామెడి అయిపోయి ఈ కాలం లో. మనం మాట్లాడుకునేది తెలంగాణా నటులను అనిచివేస్తున్నరా ? అని. శ్రీహరి ది తెలంగాణా అయిన, తన సినిమాలను బాగా ఆదరిస్తారు ఆంధ్ర లో. నారాయణమూర్తి తీసే సినిమాలలో ఎక్కువ భాగం తెలంగాణా background అయిన తన సినిమాలు ఆంధ్ర లో చూస్తారు.
ప్రతీ దాంట్లోకి ప్రాంతీయ తత్వాన్ని చొప్పించకుండా reasonable గా ఆలోచిస్తే క్లియర్ గా అర్ధమవుతుంది ఇది ఎంత వేల్యూ ఉన్న discussion అని.
కోట్లు పెట్టి సినిమా తీసేవాడు ఇవన్ని పడితే వాణ్ని పెట్టుకోడు. వర్త్ ఉన్న వాళ్ళే రాగలరు. మీరు చెప్పినట్టు కొంతమంది నిలబడ్డారు ఎందుకంటే అందరికన్నా ముందే ప్రవేశించి,తెలివి తేటల తో వ్యాపారాన్ని పెంచుకున్నారు, ఇది పెద్ద రిస్క్ బిజినెస్. అందుకే ఎక్కువమంది రాలేరు.వచ్చిన మేనేజ్ చేసుకోలేరు.

కథ లో హీరో సిటి కి వెళ్తే అది హైదరాబాదే అవుతుంది, అంతే కాని అమలాపురం, కరీంనగరో చూపిస్తే జనం చూడరు. Anyhow, ప్రతీ విషయానికి ప్రాంతీయ తత్వాన్ని ఆపాదించడం తగదు. Thank you.
I hope you don't mind me saying..I think you are doing a great thing by informing the netizens of the good film personalities from this area. Lets add more details like the good movies from these folks etc...and lets not target people from other regions...not everything has to be related to region/politics.
ReplyDeletepoint being, when I watch Venu madhav(for that matter Brahmanandam or any good comedian), I don't even really think, if this guy is from which part of India...all I look at is whether he is really funny or not :-).

Being audience we do not mind what is venumadhav's region and what is brahmanandam's region. But the fact is that since two years Brahmanandam is insisting on producers and directors to not to take venumadhav, telangana sakuntala, sivareddy and many others and blackmailing that he will not act if those are also acting in the film. These details are not important for we audience and hidden from us but they are bitter facts.
I love Brhamanandam's acting but that does not stop me to question his other unethical practices.

DeleteThe present Telangana movement can be divided into two broad streams:
1. A political grassroots agitation for a separate state.
2. A renaissance movement aimed at re-discovering and cementing the identity of Telangana.
Culture is obviously a big part of identity. History is a part of the renaissance. As Saul Bellow said "Everybody needs his memories. They keep the wolf of insignificance from the door"
Both these go hand in hand. The ongoing Batukamma celebrations complement the T-march and vice-versa.
We are jostling for space here. We need to use all possible methods when doing so.
On the comment that Brahmanandam not letting Venumadhav or someone else just shows that what kind of person he is and I am hoping it doesn't really mean some thing about his region/cast/country...(and I could have used lot more adjectives...unethical/greedy/....and I am sure he does the same with person from his region too...one of my friend had a first hand experience, how he tortures the new producers.. and BTW they are from his region too...)...all I am saying is this is his personality and not sure if that has anything to do with the region he is from.

DeleteInspiration of this blog is Dasarathi krishnamacharya. He fought against Nizams and poet, but not film lyricist. His brother Rangacharya is film lyricist.
Viswaroop, you are wrong. The late Krishnamacharya was a cine lyricist (apart of course from being a great poet in his own right).
DeleteRangacharya, the younger brother, never wrote poetry. He preferred the other forms such as novels & short stories. He never wrote for movies (though Chillara Devullu, one of his novels, was adopted for a movie much later).
Having said this, I would not count either Dr. Dasaradhi Krishnamacharya or Dr. C. Narayana Reddy (or those like Gaddar for that matter) as film artists. Films contributed a miniscule part of their work.

సినిమాలు అందఱూ చూస్తారు. కానీ తెలుగు సినిమారంగం తన ఉత్పత్తిదశలో అందఱికీ చెంది ఉండాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. ప్రత్తి మన దగ్గఱ పండుతున్నప్పటికీ, మనమందఱమూ బట్టలు తొడుక్కుంటున్నప్పటికీ మన దగ్గఱ బట్టల మిల్లులు లేవు. అవి మహారాష్ట్రలో గుజరాతులో ఉన్నాయి. అలాంటిదే తెలుగుసినిమా కూడా ! అది ఉమ్మడి రాజధాని అయిన మద్రాసులో పుట్టింది. కోస్తాలో పెఱిగింది. దాని చారిత్రిక నేపథ్యం అనేక దశాబ్దాలుగా నాన్-తెలంగాణ కనుక అందులో తెలంగాణపాత్ర తక్కువగా ఉండడంలో ఆశ్చర్యం లేదు. ఇహపోతే తెలంగాణవారిని అణిచేశారన్న వాదన. అదే నిజమైతే ఈ టపాలో ప్రస్తావించినవారు కూడా పైకొచ్చేవారు కారు. అసలుకారణం అది కాదు. ఏ పనిచేయాలన్నా, ఎందులో పైకి రావాలన్నా ఆ పిచ్చి కాస్త ఉండడం అవసరం. అది ఎంతలా ఉండాలంటే అదొక popular culture గా ఉండాలి.ఆ రంగం పట్ల జనంలో ఒక ఆరాధనాభావం కావాలి. తెలంగాణలో ఆ విధమైన పిచ్చి, పాపులర్ సినిమా కల్చర్ లేదు. నిజానికి కేవలం గత 20 ఏళ్ళుగా మాత్రమే తెలంగాణలో సినిమాల నిర్మాణం ఉద్ధృతంగా జఱుగుతోంది. అన్నప్రాశన దశలో ఉన్న ఈ బిడ్డ ఇప్పుదే ఆవకాయలు ఆరగించాలనుకోవడం తొందఱపాటే అవుతుంది. కోస్తాలో General public లో సినిమాపిచ్చి నానారకాలుగా ఉంది. సినిమాల కోసం జీవితాల్ని పణంగా పెట్టడానికి సిద్ధమయ్యేవాళ్లు ఉన్నారు. జీవితంలో కనీసం ఒక్క సినిమానో, సినిమా థియేటరో నిర్మించాలనేదే ప్రతికోస్తావాడి కల. సహజంగానే ఈ మీడియమ్ అక్కడ/ అక్కడివాళ్ళ ద్వారా పైకొస్తుంది.

Shyam benegal though hailing from hyderabad is not a telugu person. It is a misconception that his name is shyam benegalla. His relative guru dutt is a kannadiga. (original name: Guru datta) And by all probability benegal is also kannadiga.

DeleteIn telangana there are kannadigas, marathees, marwadis among others. we do not have such a narrow mind to consider only people speaking telugu are telanganaites. who ever born, braughtup and adapts to telangana culture, people are all tenganaites.
